Elegant antique French gilt and marble console from the late 1800s.


It has its ornate gilt wood and gesso frame with its original real gilt (gold leaf). In the Louis XV style, it has lots of floral, shell and scroll detail. 


It has its lovely original scalloped thick, smooth marble top with no chips or scratches.


In the photo it is leaning against the wall but would look far lovelier level, screwed into the wall through the wooden bar underneath the marble.


Highly elegant, this would look stunning in a hallway with a mirror above it perhaps.
