Item Details

19th century French silver gilt mirror in excellent condition.


It has its orginal real silver gilt (silver leaf frame) and and an ornate gesso crest with lovely shell and floral detail. Silver gilt is more difficult to find.


It has its original mercury glass, also in excellent condition. Mercury glass was not made after 1800 and gives a reflection and sparkle like no other.


It has all its original backboards.
