A striking and richly ornamented French Baroque giltwood mirror, dating from the late 18th century.

This piece features a deeply carved and pierced floral crest with a central urn overflowing with stylised flowers, flanked by symmetrical scrolls and foliate detailing.

The frame showcases beautifully aged gilding over gesso, with original mercury glass plate showing strong age-related foxing. Circa 1780.
