Item Details

A finely carved Antique French mirror that features a striking pierced foliate and floral crest, topped by a scroll-form plume and set against a crosshatched gesso background. The frame is elaborately adorned with classic Rococo C-scrolls, acanthus leaves, and floral detailing, all finished in a beautifully aged original gold leaf. The mirror plate shows soft patina, complementing the richness of the gilded frame. Circa 1780 - 1820.
