A grand and elegant French Louis Philippe period mirror. With richly carved giltwood frame, adorned with floral and foliate detailing, including a central basket motif and scrolling acanthus flourishes.

Original mercury glass showing light age spotting, the water-gilded surface has developed a warm patina over time, adding to its charm and authenticity. Circa 1850.
