Item Details

A magnificent 18th–early 19th century Italian Baroque mirror, finely carved and finished in original gold leaf. This ornate piece features a dramatic pierced crest with stylised foliage and floral carvings. The central mirror plate is from the late 19th century. There is a repair on the back of the top pediment. Additional mirrored sections flank the sides and base of the frame, enhancing light and adding visual depth. Bold scrollwork, floral detailing, and a shell finial define its luxurious design. Circa 1780-1820.
