Item Details

Adrian van Arkel was a Dutch/Swedish painter born in Leiden, The Netherlands. He moved to Sweden in 1953. He studied at the Royal Academy of Art (Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten, KABK) in The Hague, at the Académie Frochot, Paris and at the Royal Institute of Art (Kungliga Konsthögskolan) in Stockholm - under Bror Hjorth (1894 to 1968) and Lennart Rodhe (1916 to 2005).
