Circa 1840. 19th century Dutch foliate marquetry inlaid mahogany side chair. The back with a foliate and flowerhead inlaid crest above shaped side supports with matching foliate inlay and a central shaped splat with inlaid birds and vases of flowers. The serpentine pop out seat in a hand embroidered gros-point tapestry above the marquetry inlaid seat rails. All supported on front cabriole legs over ball and claw feet and outswept rear supports.
