Item Details

Circa 1870, pair of George I style mahogany side chairs. The arched and scrolled crest rails are above a vase shaped central splat flanked by turned uprights. The lift out seats are over deep, shaped seat rails and supported on cabriole front legs with c-scrolls and pad feet, and chamfered out-swept rear supports with unusual ring turned stretchers.
