Item Details
Circa 1900, Irish, Chippendale style mahogany stool. The stuffover seat recently re-upholstered in aubergine leather with pleating and deep buttoning is held in place by close brass studding. Over a seat rail with carved shell design, on well shaped cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaf knees, quarter blocks with c-scrolls and intersected by a shaped and carved stretcher; finishing on ball and claw feet.
