Item Details

Circa 1900. A light oak Jacobean style two-part linen press. The top with moulded cornice, pair of full-length doors with a stylish brass escutcheon. The doors with Jacobean panels, inside the press there are four original slides and a full-length drawer. The base with a moulded fore edge, has a configuration of three full length graduating drawers with wonderful cast brass tear drop shaped handles with a floral backplate. Beneath the bottom drawer there is further mouldings and the piece rests on four square turned and carved feet.
