Circa 1920s. A large rectangular carved walnut footstool, the top in hand-stitched needlepoint upholstery, finished with gimp, the curved rail in red walnut, the frieze with stylish pattern of ebonised arches with beading which continues down to form a Greek key pattern on the feet, with ribbing on the sides, the neat size stool is clean and sturdy.
