Circa 1890 adapted. Superb quality marquetry inlaid satinwood coffee table by Edwards and Roberts, Piccadilly, London. The oval top with mahogany boxwood and ebony banding and a large central satinwood panel with exquisite marquetry inlay of musical instruments, surrounded by husk chains and ribbon bound foliate garlands. With a chequered fore edge and on inlaid splayed feet with a crinoline under-stretcher, Bearing label ‘Edwards and Roberts, Piccadilly, London’.
