Circa 1870 with adaptations. Victorian mahogany breakfront open bookcase in three sections. Surmounted by a classic Victorian moulded cornice above a crossbanded frieze, the three sections of this open bookcase – wider in the middle – each with five adjustable shelves with mahogany facings, are flanked by moulded pilasters and all sitting on an enclosed breakfront plinth. In excellent condition. The clean lines of this bookcase make it suitable for a traditional or contemporary setting.
