Item Details

A large antique etched and cut glass "lobed" dish shade with highly decorative gilt brass / ormolou mounts and chains; the fluted spiral rim surmounted by repeated cartouche / C-scroll / mask topped panels divided by loop topped corbels. Fantastic quality and condition. By F & C Osler c1900.
As complete as one could hope for including original chains, looped six chain hanger / cordgrip, 3 armed lampholder with original lampholders. Please see the many photos / closeups of the light showing exactly what is included.
It was fitted with glass behind the panels; most likely not original, the three remaining pieces (of six) available if wanted.
Rewired with 2m (exposed) fabric flex. Earthed and PAT tested. Includes a period decorative cast gilt brass hooked ceiling plate and vintage slotted brass screws.

20"/51cm diameter.
28"/71cm drop (top of hanger loop to base of bowl). The hooked ceiling plate will add another couple of inches and any more drop required achieved by adding chain between the ceiling hook and hanger loop (not included).
