Item Details

An antique 19th century large opaline glass oil lamp shade converted to a hanging pendant light. Works well. Not the first time this has been done; please see the other set of 5 similar pendant shades which were bought from a church and had been hanging as electrified lights from the mid 20th century or earlier. Presumably they recycled their hanging oil lamps when the church received an electric supply. Rewired with 1.5m fabric flex, new BC lampholders. Supplied with patinated hooked ceiling plate.
Chain (solid patinated brass chain shown in photos) can be supplied in any length if required. Could also be wire hung or hung with flex and cordgrip only.
