A late 19th century French bronze of Venus De Milo, cast by the Barbedienne Foundry. Signed to base. Complete with the Collas reduction mechanique pastille mark.


The Barbedienne Foundry, established by Ferdinand Barbedienne and Achille Collas in Paris (1838-1839), was a renowned 19th-century French bronze workshop famous for its high-quality, scaled reproductions of classical sculptures.


Very good condition throughout with great colour.
