An impressive plaster of large proportions in the manner of Antoine-Louis Barye (1795-1875) depicting a prowling lion, circa. early 20th century.


The lion is of arched form with lowered front legs, raised hind and a roaring expression. Lights signs of wear commensurate with age. Great colour throughout.
