A fine mahogany Regency period desk top book stand / tray.


The thin shelves are united by finely turned spindles with the corners terminating in ball finials. The moulding to the top shelf allows for a second shelf of books if desired.


There are some light signs of wear commensurate with age but generally the whole piece remains in a very good sturdy condition.
