A rare mahogany horse measuring stick by Aston and Mander is marked on one side  in feet and inches and on the other in hands.  It has brass fittings, including a spirit level.  The condition is very good, the measurements are clearly marked and the slide moves freely.  A fabulous antique measure, just as useful today as it was when it was made.
