This is a really elegant chest of drawers, made in the 1990s by the Parisian maker R&Y Augousti.

Made from parchment with Shagreen handles.

A good amount of storage and the drawers run smoothly. This piece is in very good condition.

R&Y Augousti was founded in 1989 by husband-wife duo Ria & Yiouri Augousti. Together they have revived the artisanal techniques of shagreen and other exotic materials that were predominant in the Art Deco period of the 1930s.

Their debut collection for the luxurious Hotel Crillon in Paris, led them on to be selected to create exclusive collections for luxury stores like Barneys New York & Bergdorf Goodman.

Their flagship store is on the famous Rue Du Bac in the 7th Arrondissement of Paris, France.

They work closely with worldwide famous interior designers, architects and celebrities to create custom pieces for their homes and projects all within keeping to the Augousti universe.
