https://www.decorativecollective.com/dealers/james-worrallThis decorative oil on canvas was painted in May 1938 by Daisy Radcliffe Beresford in The Hall Studio - just a few minutes walk from our Showroom in London NW8.
This friendly looking older gentleman was Mr Deputy Charles Newell CC, Lieutenancy City of London and past Chairman, Guildhall Library.
Lovely detail on the bold uniform and the colours are good. A little wear, but generally in good condition for the painting's age.
It is currently unframed, please get in touch if you'd like a quote, we can easily frame this for you.
