Made from walnut with an inlaid veneer pattern, attractive figuring arranged in a decorative, patchwork-like design. The top surfaces are similarly detailed with geometric veneer inlay, creating a framed look that enhances their elegance.
Each commode features two large lower drawers and one slimmer upper drawer, providing functional storage while preserving the curved aesthetic. The drawers are fitted with ornate metal pulls in traditional rococo shapes.
The cabriole legs are gracefully curved and end in a slight foot scroll, common in Louis XV and Rococo revival furniture. There’s subtle carving at the apron (bottom front centre) of each commode, adding a gentle decorative flourish.
A perfect pair of nightstands, accent pieces in living rooms or entryways, or chests in hallways or dressing rooms.
The dimensions of the tops: width 63cm, depth 29.5cm.
