https://www.decorativecollective.com/dealers/james-worrallThis pair of decorative wall lights was made in Italy in the 1920s.
The tall, narrow backplates have arched tops with a scalloped edge. The original pieces of glass have an etched pattern, incorporating a neoclassical building and a fan motif at the top. One of the mirrors shows significant aging and foxing (dark spots and cloudiness), which is common in antique mirrors. Please take a look at all our pictures to see this detail.
Each sconce has two arms extending from the bottom, supporting candle-style light holders. We've had these sconces rewired for the UK, this can easily be adapted for any destination - please get in touch for more details.
These lights have an attractive patinated reddish-brown finish.
Perfect for a traditional, or period-style interior, especially when used as accent lighting in a hallway, dining room, or above a mantel.
Quality Italian antique design.
