A lovely little desk lamp made by Helo Leuchten in the 1950s, with a space-age design and a good colour.


It retains the original, branded green felt on the base. Base diameter is 16cm, shade diameter is 25cm.


We've had it rewired for the UK, this can easily be changed for any destination.


Helo was founded in the 1930s by Henry Gerhard Senior as Elektrogeschäfts Helo in the city of Breslau, at that time a German city. Today a Polish city named Wroclaw. He fled to Neuburg with his family in 1945.


The Helo Leuchten company was registered after World War 2 in 1946 in Neuburg (Neuburg an der Donau). The name Helo comes from from Henry and his son Lothar.
