Josephine Ryan has been in the antiques business for 30 years.

Known for finding the most unusual stock and displaying it to its very best.

Expect to find a quirky mix of traditional English furniture filled with an array of one off pieces of glassware from Roman to modern.

Always in stock is a large selection of upholstered chairs, where you'll find a Howard and Sons sofa sitting next to a pair of chairs by Howard Keith.

Peppered around the shop on odd occasional tables are vignettes that may include a stuffed Canary under a dome, with a Pewter pot holding a bunch of Stag horn cutlery and a cold painted bronze figure of a hand sitting on a book.

Always quirky and thought provoking, Josephine is led by a vision for the perfect Interior. Having published four books on the subject she should know what she's talking about.

Based in London for most of her career, she up-sized to Tetbury in Gloucestershire a few years ago and operates from a magnificent Georgian house on Long Street where the shop is set up as a home over three floors.
