This was quite a find amongst vintage bags, a Lulu Guinness, in original box, Fan clutch bag.


The design differs from the first 1990s original (see final pic from the LG archive) in that it doesn't have the scalloped top, and has a flat base, but the embroidery on black satin and the colours of the fan decor to the front, mimic exactly the original 1995 Fan clutch bag.


The iconic fan shape started with this embroidery design and I'm still looking to see when this particular bag was put into production, but there have been several created since 1995. It is made from black satin embroidered with white hearts and pink and green flowers within a white fan border and bears the LG initials logo on the back. Inside you have the Lulu Guinness London label and a small label confirming it is made of satin. The zip works perfectly well and the colours to the front are vivid and eye catching with no damage, marks or repairs. The box is also in very good condition. 


I believe the bag has likely never been used, so a great collectible piece and one for your LG or Vintage handbag collection.
