Circa 1820s French indigo resist printed cotton of decorative leaves on meandering branches. At the centre a 19th century frenchprinted cotton ribbon.
Backed in a 19th Century French hand dyed natural indigo linen. Slipstitched closed with a duck feather cushion pad.In an as found antique and gently faded condition with it's originalpieced sections.Some small splitting occuring in the textile in places across the front so not the most robust of textiles.
