Charming C1840-50s French cotton foulard block printed with a border of large scale roses surrounded by a pattern of leaves and flowers.The center small bunches of flowers against meandering leafy branches.


In an as found antique condition with uneveness and loss of colour in the saffron ground through washing and with some colour staining/bleeding.A few historic stitched repairs and tears on the selvedge in places
