An impressive Biedermeier chest of pine drawers from the early 19th century, hand decorated with linework and a scumble & faux burlwood pattern, on raised tapered bun feet, two over three drawer composition, complete with the original decorative handles.


 


Highly unusual stepped chamfered top. 


 


Some of the internal lock mechanisms have been previously removed, bumps, knocks and losses to areas of the bun feet.


This is a large and highly decorative chest of drawers, wear commensurate with the age.
