A quite exceptional late 19th century French patio/orangery Settee. This is a beautiful wrought iron settee, with the most intricate decorative detailing and workmanship throughout. An abundance of flowers and leaves decorate the sides and backs of the chairs, with beautiful original hand painted colours and aged patina. Made in France at the latter end of the 19th century, it would grace any interior space.


We have had the settee re-upholstered in a soft neutral linen style cotton fabric. The seat cushions and back pads are fully padded along with the small curved padded arm rests All the upholstered pieces are fixed in place, attached to the frame not loose. This wrought iron settee is stunning and we've not seen another like it. A rare and extremely unique piece.



Settee is of large proportions and heavy, with blacksmithing techniques, repousse details and decorative tole ware flower work. The craftsmanship is incredible and the hours of work, countless

Some of the leaves and flowers have been lost over the years as these are fine and delicately made, images to show these are attached.
