Hermés/Adnet Style Trompe L’Oeil Strapwork Iron Faux Leather Chair


Incredible wrought iron chair, the frame designed to replicate leather equestrian harness straps, very much in the manner of Hermés and Jacques Adnet. 


The attention to detail is quite exceptional, the trompe l’oeil technique has been used to incredible effect to represent the straps, the debossed 


stitching runs throughout the chair, and are coupled with steel keepers and steel rings that are positioned at the backrest of the chair and at the centre, underneath the seat.


The cushioned seat pad has been professionally re-upholstered in a contemporary neutral cotton.
