A stunning George I style chinoiserie mirror, English, early 20th century in a gorgeous scarlet red, adorned with hand painted decoration featuring flowers, birds, figures and oriental scenes, the huge crest in a complimentary neutral stone finish. The frame displaying the perfect amount of age related wear and crazing, slight spots of foxing to the original plate. A beautiful period mirror in a rare colorway, and of great scale and proportion.
