This incredible Mid-20th Century Moroccan Star table is a striking example of Moorish design, characterized by its iconic eight-pointed star top and elaborate polychrome decoration.

 

Handcrafted in Morocco circa 1950 this piece features an architectural octagonal base that supports a star-shaped surface. Every inch of the wood is covered in intricate, hand-painted Zouak motifs, showcasing traditional Islamic geometric patterns and floral arabesques in a rich palette of deep blues, ochres, and reds.
