Item Details

A stunning 19th century tramp art mirror, the frame showcases a deep brown stained finish with slotted or notched edges and diamond-shaped carved accents along the inner border. It features distinctive protruding geometric corners reminiscent of Greek motifs.


 


The rectangular, original mirror glass itself is decorated with etched star or snowflake patterns in the corners.


 


A couple of small loses, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the mirror.


The mirror plate sits away from the frame slightly in one corner, probably due to the hand crafted nature of the frame.
