An Attractive 18th Century Belgian Oak Console or Side Table in the Rococo Manner, Made in Liège, Belgium.

This lovely table is a fine example of rococo design, carved throughout in high relief. Its decoration consists of the usual C and S scrolls, floral detailing, particularly the leafy sabots to the legs, and hoof feet. A carved bust portrait of a female figure to the centre of the frieze. The carving extends to both sides of the table as well, each side having a shaped apron. The original marble top with its swirls of orange, red, white, grey and black, has an incised and moulded carved edge and is of particularly fine quality.

A very nice table with a stunning original marble.
