This Large decorative bombé chest commode in Louis the VX style with intricate rosewood marquetry. The chest is embellished with ornate ormolus mounts on the corners, the handle and the middle plates and boasts one large drawer and two small drawers on the upper part. The drawers are well incorporated with beautiful exaggerated curves. The chest has been bleached, varnished and wax to accentuation the marquetry work.
