Early 20th Century English carved wooden rocking horse on iron bow rocker.


Retaining its original hand-painted finish, leather bridle, horsehair mane and red felt saddle. The horse is mounted on an elegant sprung wrought iron bow base with small spoked guide wheels. Beautifully modelled with a spirited stance, it displays the honest wear and patina expected of a well loved antique toy.


A delightful nursery or interior decorative piece, equally appealing to collectors of antique toys and country house furnishing.
