Set of three 18th Century French botanical engravings circa 1776 by Pierre Joseph Buchoz.Pierre Joseph Buchoz was a French physician, lawyer and naturalist. He become a doctor of medicine in Nancy in 1763.Buchoz was devoted to botany, but was also interested in the treatment of melancholy and recommended music as therapy.
