White marble urns decorated with gilt bronze goats head masks and foliate swags. Wired and PAT tested.
French, circa 1890

30cm H (to top of urns), 15cm W, 14cm D.

Condition:
Excellent overall condition, one small chip to the base of one lamp, see photos for details.

Provenance:
Jardine Hall, Applegirth, Dumfriesshire, Scotland (demolished 1964)
The property of Sir William Jardine of Applegirth, 9th Bt (grandson of the famous ornithologist of the same name.
Purchased in 1890's to furnish the 6 large additions to the house completed by Architect Edward J. May.
