A Pair of Italian 19th Century Bronze 'Medici' Lions. Fine pair of cast bronze Grand Tour lions, after the originals in marble, which 1789 they have stood on the steps of the Loggia dei Lanzi at the Piazza della Signoria in Florence. Each lion outward facing and with raised paw on a ball, standing upon bronze plinths.
