Dutch oak tea bucket, or champagne bucket of circular form, supported by fine turned oak spindles, with original brass liner and handle.


Dutch, circa 1830.


Dutch tea buckets were used in the drawing room, with a burner and kettle, to heat water for making tea in porcelain pots. Ideal for use as a jardiniere or champagne bucket.
