This is an antique bi-fold decorative screen. An English, walnut and silk two panel divider, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1850.

  • Delightful early Victorian craftsmanship with a charming appearance
  • Displaying a desirable aged patina, lightly timeworn commensurate with age
  • Select walnut stocks to the frame with turned finials and leg motif
  • Deep russet hues and fine grain interest accentuate the frame
  • Folding upon the centre axis and adjustable through 180 degrees
  • Scenes of birds amongst foliage adorn the front panels
  • The reverse dressed in deep plum coloured silk cotton
  • Can be folded outright for use as a distinctive, single bed headboard
