This is a small antique console table. An English, pitch pine ecclesiastical or side table, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
Pleasingly compact, whilst comfortably seating four persons
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select pitch pine shows fine grain interest
Deep caramel hues beam beneath the wax polish finish
Thick, inset top surface sits prominently above the square section apron
Stout block shoulders with turned cup knees below
Gently tapering legs stand upon a quartet of cylindrical feet
Each leg united by ring turned stretchers
