This is an antique drawing room Pembroke table. An English, mahogany drop leaf side or lamp table, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.
Beautifully presented small table, with great colour and craftsmanship
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Select stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
Accentuated with superb boxwood and ebony stringing
Offers a pair of drop leaves supported by articulated flying arms
Arranged as a pair of drawers to the front fascia, with faux drawers to the reverse
Each dressed with pairs of circular brass pulls with foliate decoration
Brass lined locks present upon the opening drawer fronts — untested, key absent
Drawers lined tastefully with a later faux crocodile finish in black
Decorative knees host a turned cup and collar finish at each corner
Riding smoothly upon a quartet of brass castors
