This is an antique sarcophagus tea caddy. An English, rosewood loose leaf tea case dating to the William IV period, circa 1835. A beautifully proportioned piece with fine detailing, rich tones and elegant Georgian revival design.

Fascia inset with a diamond-shaped escutcheon, housing a traditional lock — key present
