This is a pair of antique footstools. An English, walnut and boxwood cushioned stool, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

Fascinating beaded stools in pleasingly original order
Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout
Quality walnut frames present fine grain interest
Accentuated with dashing marquetry in ebony and boxwood

Traditionally stuffed, the beaded cushions host a distinctive foliate scroll motif
Signs of light wear present to the original cushions, commensurate with age
