In the manner of Basilius Besler (1561 - 1629), a 16th and early 17th century German botanist
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Set in tasteful frames, with ebonised finish and gilt corner detail
Presented behind clear, bright glass for display


Striking colour accentuates each picture with red and green hues
Presented in the manner as they appeared in the sought after Hortus Eystettensis
Published in 1613, the text describes the specimen in Latin
Dressed to the rear with mounting wire for ease of hanging
