This is a pair of vintage dog statues. An Oriental, ceramic decorative 'Dog of Fo' ornament dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.

Captivatingly blue dogs with fine finish and appearance

Ceramic in good order with rich cerulean blue colour beneath a quality glaze
Bold, sitting dog with overt Oriental influence
Great detail to the face and exuberant coat
Left paw raised upon a brocade ball and stood atop a tall socle
