This is a vintage 2 fishing rod Case. A Japanese, bamboo rod duo within a pine carry case, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960.


A delightful vintage set, offering two full rods and various period fishing accessories
Displays a desirable aged patina, in carefully used order throughout
An ensemble housed within a pine case, held closed with a trio of small clasps
Offers two full fishing rods, standing at 11ft and 8ft respectively


Each rod crafted in bamboo and finished with colour coded tape
One features a cork handle, whilst the second handle is crafted from beech
The 11ft rod put together with 4 sections, whilst 3 sections create the 8ft rod
Champion maker's mark present to both rods, upon the shaft
Set within the reverse of the lid, a set of compartments housing a raft of accessories
